RECEIVING YOUR ORDER
To avoid any issues during and after receiving your products, please ensure you follow the simple steps below, as they are required for any delivery claims.
In all cases, delivery conditions are subject to the transport company's schedules and local holidays. Galican is not responsible for delays caused by the transport company or the customer.
Although we use high-quality packaging materials and handle your order with care, it is possible that your order may not arrive in the expected condition. All orders are shipped with full insurance, but the following steps must be followed for claims to be accepted by the insurance company:
If the order appears to be in good condition and no visible damage is observed, follow these steps:
- Count the packages received and check if the total number matches the one indicated on the carrier's delivery note.
- Sign the carrier's delivery note, including:
- Full name.
- The note "With reservations."
- Number of packages received.
- Date and time of delivery.
If you notice that the boxes are damaged (dents, scratches, or impacts on the box, etc.), follow these steps:
If you decide to reject the delivery:
- Write down the damage and the reason for refusing the goods on the carrier's delivery note.
- Include your full name, the date, and the time of the delivery attempt.
- Indicate the number of packages rejected.
If you decide to accept the delivery:
- Clearly indicate the damages on the carrier's delivery note.
- Send an email to logistica@galican.com within three days, attaching:
- A photo of the carrier's delivery note describing the damages.
- Photos of the damaged boxes on the truck (if possible) while being unloaded.
- Photos of the opened boxes and the damaged products.
Important: Retain the original boxes and pallets in case the products need to be returned to our warehouse. Galican is not responsible for damages resulting from products returned in different packaging conditions.
