Abrantes 2025
Abrantes 2025 – Three events, five courses, and plenty of agility
Three major events in a row, one location – and we were right in the middle of it. In July, Abrantes was the heart of the agility world: SOAWC/JOAWC, European Open (EO), and Border Collie Classic (BCC). We were not only there live but also part of this special agility summer as the provider of the obstacles.
Five Courses – Our contribution to the agility summer
Five complete courses from our factory were on the field in Abrantes. We know how each obstacle is made – from screwing to painting to the finished equipment – and we are all the more excited to see them in action on the courses. Every tunnel, jump, and contact obstacle was tested to the limit by the participants in Portugal: dogs jumped over them, teams fought for hundredths of a second, and in the end, it was clear – our equipment belongs exactly where it should: at the center of agility sport.
JOAWC & SOAWC – Agility for all generations
Right from the start, it was showtime for the JOAWC and SOAWC. Whether junior or senior, every team had to give their all on the course. The energy at this event is simply unique: teams stick together, cheer each other on with loud chants, and celebrate every little success. From J12 to SEN65, in the end, everyone pursues the same goal: a fantastic agility run full of fun, passion, and team spirit. We had so much fun with these amazing agility athletes.
EO –Runs at the highest level
The EO offered the full package for agility fans: the elite from around the world competed to face the international judges on challenging courses. Technical lines, demanding turns, full-speed runs – every run a world-class spectacle. You could feel the teams’ focus, the dogs’ precision, and pure speed, as well as all the hard work and intense training the teams had put into preparing for the EO. Hats off!
BCC –The big Border Collie party
El broche final fue el Border Collie Classic: velocidad pura y energía sin límites. Para nosotros, un highlight cada año – en ningún otro lugar corren tantos Border Collies a la vez por los pistas, cada uno con su propio estilo y ritmo.
Our conclusion
Three events, five courses, countless runs – Abrantes was more than just a sports event for us. It was a reunion with the international community, an exchange with trainers, competitors, and fans – and confirmation that our obstacles deliver exactly what the sport needs.
And honestly: after these weeks, we are even more excited to help shape the next big agility moments.
Many thanks to the organizers and all the dedicated helpers who made this event what it is.
