New Galican Channel Slalom – Profi-Approved by Adrián Bajo
At Galican, dog safety and well-being always come first. At the same time, training equipment must be practical, flexible, and well-designed so that training is smooth and efficient.
That’s why we developed our new Galican Channel Weave.
The channel weave is just one of many ways to teach a dog the slalom; every trainer has their own approach. At Galican, we offer different types of training weaves: channel weave, V-shape, zig-zag, or classic insert poles.
Why a new channel slalom?
The slalom is one of the most technical elements in agility. Especially for young or beginner dogs, you need equipment that:
- is precisely adjustable
- remains stable
- allows clean, safe movements
- and doesn’t burden trainers with complicated adjustments
Our new channel weave delivers all that – and more. The newly developed, easily adjustable modules can be adapted seamlessly to any training level. Whether you need a wide spacing for beginners or a tighter setup for advanced dogs, the weave is ready for the next session in just a few steps. It can also be used as a closed weave, with or without modules.
Thanks to the stable base, the weave stays firmly in place and won’t slip.
Tested by a World Champion: Adrián Bajo
If anyone knows what training equipment should offer, it’s Adrián Bajo, two-time world champion and highly respected trainer, who is already working intensively with our new channel slalom.
His feedback:
“The new adjustable modules are simply brilliant. They can be quickly adapted to the dogs’ level, allowing them to learn the technique safely and correctly. Thanks to the stable base, nothing moves, making training really enjoyable.”

Training tip from Adrián:
He also shares an important teaching tip:
“Give your dogs time and be patient during training. That’s how they learn fastest—and you’ll have fun too! Especially with slalom training, patience is key, and equipment that adapts to the dog’s pace helps a lot.”
The new Galican Channel Weave is ideal for anyone who:
- wants to train flexibly and efficiently
- values safety and stability
- and is looking for equipment tested and recommended by a world champion
